A group of my friends and I had a day trip to Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles before Covid. I rarely used to bring my camera along for things like this, but in recent years (I'm now 33) documenting my best memories with my friends has become really important to me. I would define these as the sort of photos that my grandmother would have put into family photo albums, definitely not professional quality work. A few of these lovely people are also featured in the photos from my Costume Party thread ( https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1667771 ). I miss doing things like this with my friends.
All were shot in natural light using the original Canon 5D with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens attached at various aperture settings.
