Ruby-crowned Kinglet; playing with the 2xTC. This little guy was hard to get as it kept darting around and the darkness, along with the 2x, made it even tougher to capture the shot. On this day, I wanted to shoot some higher ISO photos and test the 2x on the camera, along with Animal Eye Detection to see how they work together in not so good lighting condition (i.e. challenge the camera). I know we want to post those nice well lit photos, but I wanted to see what the nasty not so well lit, slower AF, images can look like. This was the best I could get this day in the canopy of trees. The image looks better on my computer, so something must be happening when loaded to the web.
