I placed an order last week with breakthrough- even though I don’t have the R5 yet - around 100 people ahead of me at The camera store.
I ordered the breakthrough holder with the polarizer for $299 and that comes with a free clear filter. Was told ETA is end of November and the ship in sequence of when the order was placed (was still among first 500 orders that get a free clear filter). Was also told that filters with the rotating rings (polarizer and vari ND, may be delayed). I intend on placing order for vari ND separately. Sells for &129.
Lastllly, when I went to the canon road show at the camera store they had the drop in with the polarizer - no vari nd. They told me the holder must be used with a filter - if not using polarizer, you need the clear.
