Not really, the base body is pretty much the same size as the A7III. It's all of 3mm less wide, same depth. Top plate is very close to the same height as the A7III.
They chopped the big EVF off and stuffed a tiny one into the empty space in the corner and used low-profile dials on the top and went back to a A7II style grip.
There's some interesting engineering in there, but it doesn't seem to have resulted in any real reduction in the body size, which is largely determined by the screen size and the necessary control space to the right of the screen.
I honestly think Sony could have done a smaller body if they'd gone with a better but smaller (or more 16x9 format) LCD instead of going to a smaller EVF. They managed to find the lousy middle point between too much miniaturization and not enough.
