Looks great to me. The theme is simplicity and compactness. It is way up on the Fuji X cameras because it is full frame. That is a major and insuperable advantage. I never have used the front dial much because of the way I shoot. The exposure compensation dial is much more important to me. If that weren't there, it would be a problem.
I loved using the a6500 and found it lovely to handle, but it was aps-c. To me, this appears to have the qualities that made the a6500 so lovely but with a full frame sensor that offers the best current overall image quality of any of Sony's sensors and in a slender, compact body that will be fun to carry and to handle.
Of course, I want to see the specs, the reviews, and the back of the camera. But if it delivers the A73 plus some improvements in a a6500 sized body, I'm in.
And if the kit lens delivers the quality of the 16-50 in an FE version, and if they follow that with a compact lens of the quality of the 11-16 in an FE version, then those are two of the lenses that I would want. If they follow those two with an FE 28mm version of the Sony-Zeiss 24mm 1.8, then I will be a very happy photographer.
And if their next C body is an A9C? Zowie!
How many custom buttons does the Leica M10 have?
How individuals will feel about this camera will depend a lot on what and how they like to shoot. For my purposes, it is possible this will be close to perfect.
