Canon tilt shift works as (manual focus) native on Sony. You picked the most inane bullet point ever. Well done. You can’t do any worse for your next post.

The question was asked of the other person. But your reply does not rise tp what the question is aiming for. For if Sony can adapt lenses, so can the Canon R5. Not merely tilt shift that Canon actually manufactures, not just the EF and RF lenses, but Tamron and Sigma. And when the myriad of vintage glass is considered, any chasm between lens availability rises above your reply. We can backtrack to the earlier reply "lens selection for Sony just trumps Canon's". If there are any more to one brand or the other, the difference is very minimal.

Like this for example, is from Zeiss Flektogon 50mm, which can also adapt to the Canon R5. Once options like FD lenses, Leica, Mamiya, Helios, Takumar and many others are considered, the word "trumps" vaporizes regardless of which of the two brands we're talking about.

The question was asked of the other person. But your reply is too weak to rise above what the question is aiming for. For if Sony can adapt lenses, so can the Canon R5. Not merely the tilt shift that Canon actually manufactures, not just all the EF and RF lenses, but Tamron and Sigma. And when the myriad of vintage glass is considered, any chasm between lens availability mocks your reply and the previous. Setting aside your "bullet point" distraction, we can backtrack to the earlier reply "lens selection for Sony just trumps Canon's".
