I’m in 15°C temp here in Sydney on a brand-new battery 45 minutes in to walk around regular shooting and have fired off 250 odd shots using continuous focus. Out of the box power settings. there is no way that this camera is going to overheat. Will keep going...

Edit. About an hour later. No heat in the body whatsoever now. 16deg temp. Battery just went down a notch from full. Note this is consistent single shot continuous AF. Feels like Sony a7iii battery drain rate to me (had one for 1.5years). This camera is amazing to handle btw.

Edit: 2.5 hrs 400 shots 53% battery lots of chimping and playing with menus. No overheating or very similar body temps to every other mirrorless camera I have used. I would say for this style of shooting I will need 2 batteries for a whole day of street photography. Battery life feels better than my xt2 but not quite as good as my Sony 7iii.
