I have had mine since lunchtime. I have shot5 some kids at a camp.
So in action, running and ball tracking. Works great.
My first takeaways:
1. Having shot with all Canon bodies, but mainly 1D series, including my current 1DX III, I cannot believe how quite the camera is. Even at 12 FPS using the shutter. So more more issues for you bird folks.
2 The EYE AF does not work with a mask. You need to see the nose and mouth. Otherwise you have bouncing blue squares over the face.
I am very impressed so far.
