I have never forgotten these people Phuc! So kind! So grateful! Proud! Back then, when ever I/we entered a Hmong village I went directly to the elder(s) and asked permission to trespass through their village. Of course in a manner of good faith, I would present cartons of cigarettes, liquor, other items in a show of respect and appreciation for their indulgence.
The elders gave us anything and everything we asked for, or might desire, without hesitation as a friendly gesture back! We were their guests!!!
