Gotta love a a review video that starts out by saying
"This is a completely unfair test of the R5 AF system."

Poor Chelsea. Bless her heart.

Well I respect the fact they got out front and tested EF lenses and TC albeit old ones. But everyone has been saying you can use EF lenses and I quote "RW", seamlessly.
But first time someone has clearly stated BO is an issue., everyone else talked around the BO issue.
I would like to see more examples but they are hard to come-by....

Do you think the Northrups only own old outdated gear such as that old 500 v1 and probably the same vintage 2x teli.
I don't think so but I could be wrong. There is a reason they used such gear.

Chelsea is the first person I've heard so far complaining about BO. I noticed they didn't go into detail of their camera settings as well, which could have an additional effect on the BO.

These two are starting to remind me of Laurel and Hardy. Their pre-staged antics and rehearsed lines are pretty cheesey.

They have an ax to grind and they're showing it.

They were shooting in mechanical shutter, screen was set to 120 refresh... battery lasted 1 hour. I want to believe its better than that also... They did not test ES.

There are several power saving functions that we can turn on or utilize. Using 120 refresh is one of the power hungry options.
And knowing how much they love video, I'm sure that was used for a considerable amount of time.
I plan on using 120 myself but if the 60 works then I might use that for anything other than BIF. Not sure yet but hopefully I'll know by next weekend.

I'm counting you to post small birds in flight...

Yep, Dave better walk the walk and not just talk the talk or else Sony is still the system to beat...you know, that 2017 system....
