The 500 f4 is II is supported according to the manual. Don't jump to conclusions based on their 20 year old lens. They also didnt show the electronic shutter 20fps mode which doesn't have any blackout.
Also, just as an aside, when Chelsea said she switched to video and couldn’t record because of overheating, she didn’t say if she was using regular 4K or 4K HQ.
I find the Northrups make a lot of assertions without giving all the details.
