Canon Just Won Mirrorless with the EOS R5 and R6

As reported by PeaPixel ....

"As good as the EOS R5 is, the R6 is significantly better value for money. My guess is that the EOS R6 will have a far greater impact on the creative market than the R5 ever will. This is primarily due to the specs and price of the camera. Sure, the R5 is clearly better in almost every regard, but many of the features are completely overkill for most people. 8K is a wonderful feature to have, but for the most part, it’s pretty inconvenient right now."

Yes, there is no arguing that the R6 is better value than the R5 ... but I guess more people are buying the R5?

Agree

There is nothing in the R5 makes me buy it over the R6

I only chose the R5 because of the higher resolution view finder (not so because of the higher resolution rear LCD) and it's more rigorous weather sealing--which is really important to me given the places I travel to. However with that said, if the view finder and weather sealing specs of the R5 were in the R6 I would have gone with the R6 because of the smaller MP sensor as I do little to no cropping.
