I thought the R5’s EVF frame rate IS 120 fps, No?

At POTN someone mentioned 32ms. On the R6 you can change the EVF to frame rate to 120 fps. I suppose the R5 will have that.

My understanding is the R5 also has the two choices of EVF frame rate. Standard 60FPS for better battery life and 120FPS for shooting moving subjects. This is same as Sony and it is noticeable when I shoot hummingbirds going from flower to flower. At 60FPS whenever the bird moves to a new flower I lose it in the EVF due to the delay and I actually have to take my eye off the EVF to see what flower it went to next. But at high refresh I can see it move and move with it in the EVF.
That is good news and I could live with that. I guess the other question is the rolling shutter. Looks like there isn't any at 19ms so that might be close to the limit? I think you posted R5 rolling shutter under certain light conditions. I suppose we don't know what that means yet. Hopefully not effected by daylight but is also effected by readout speed. I'm not sure how much I'll use e shutter.
Sorry for all the questions. I'm on the edge of a very big decision.
Where did you find/hear this 19ms? Are you talking about the refresh rate of the EVF that Geoff is talking about or are you talking about the read speed @ 19ms?
It is for the R6 and in the DPR Youtube video from yesterday. Chris says that one advantage of dealing with "only" 20MPs is you get the faster readout and said it was 19ms which is 1/52s...so probably about the same as the 1/60s of the 1DXIII given that it is likely the same sensor. But they don't have their production R5 yet so couldn't comment on it.
