Leighton - Tell me how you find the macbook 16 inch, I'm looking at buying one. I've got the 2017 Macbook Pro 15 - but it has serious thermal throttling (and of course the keyboard never worked). Now, with the 45mp files of the Z7 it's become unusable. I
need another laptop - I don't mind windows 10, and I'm tossing up between the macbook 16 inch or waiting for a new release later this year, although this thing is driving me crazy so I don't know if I can wait.
Colin - is it weird if I respond to your Flickr comment about the FTZ adapter here? Yes, I agree with you, it's not much of a looker on the Z cameras, but all the adapters are much of a muchness, they're just metal tubes bridging the flange difference for mirrorless. I pulled it out so I could use the MF lenses and post on here.
I used to shoot these MF lenses exclusively a few years ago but now I don't know how I did it, I've become so used to pressing the shutter and letting the camera do all the work that I'm finding it quite hard to use them - not that I have many left. I sold at least 100 - 150 lenses before leaving Australia. I sort of regret it now, there's a couple I wish I'd kept. But I see Curtis is still up to his old tricks, quietly and persistently urging more purchases - so who knows, I may re-buy - ha ha - adds new meaning to the "kit building is forever' adage.
I forgot how quickly this thread moves - it's full time work keeping up.

Oh Laura how could you say that??!! I admit I was very enthusiastic about certain lenses but I absolutely deny ever "tempting" people to buy buy BUY - look at Curtis, I've only been back one day and he's already trying to get me to re-buy 100 lenses.
