The prince from the Piast dynasty,which founded,baptized and ruled Poland and Polish lands for more than 400 years.
Extraordinary man absolutely.Minnesinger, poet and troubadour. I especiaslly love one of his poems,which I have learned by heart,though it is written in Mittelhochdeutsch and I have spent some time to find the original text.Some may say,that "Ich klage dirm maie" it is nothing special,but it touched my heart stronger than expected.
An excellent politician and leader.He died, probably poisoned, just before his coronation as King of Poland.Shade...
