Re: Manual Focus Nikon Glass

Hope all are fine and safe from from this coronavirus.
After a long time, I am posting an image here.
Yesterday tonight with a relatively clean sky ("collateral effect" of the virus...) I tested for the fisrt time in the Z7 my heavy artillery.

Contrary to Rafael findings with the Z6+800/5.6, without Electronic Front Curtain activated my images were blurry up to 1/125s, but with this resource I can get sharp images even at 1/20 or 1/40s !
Rafael, have you tried the latest firmware?

Moon with a legacy 1600mm (800mm x 2 TC) telephoto by Jose, on Flickr

Z7+ FTZ + TC301 + Nikkor 800mm f/5.6 ai-s EDIF (=1600mm f/11) + Gimbal head + tripod; ISO 200, f/16 (8x2) at 1/40s. Electronic Front Curtain shutter activated - 5sec timer. 14.63/45.44MP=32.2% cropped.
