I've become convinced the Nikon 500 5.6 PF will be my go-to from now on. I called my dealer and was told its shipping has slowed down a little.
With an early ice-out of ponds/lakes certain now, I thought it best to pull the trigger on this lens today (March 10, 2020). Just ordered my 500 5.6 PF through NPS.
Has anyone felt the need to go through more than the first copy; i.e. have all first copies been sharp? I imagine the answer is “yes” but just wanted to check and am interested in any other feedback ya'll may want to give.
