Thanks, Let's just say I'm frustrated. Mine is also frequently missing focus on static objects that are a distance away, say a hawk percjed in a tree at 30 yards. It does great at up to 30 feet. I'm going to have to call and get something started again with Sony but I'm trying to determine exactly what is going on. They tested my lens and say it's ok. I am to the point I may buy an A9 just to see how it does on it. The 400 DO II is slower to focus but it nails the shots. Today I took flying eagle shots and kept shooting as it flew away and if you zoom in on the shots with it tiny they are still perfectly in focus. Every one. I like the 200 600 feel and weight and really want to figure out what is going on with it on my camera. At least having this one work properly lets me know it's not me or my settings.
