AFAIK in all of Canon's other cameras when they say "4k" they mean "DCI 4k" not "UHD 4k" (as Sony does).
Small chance they now mean "UHD 8k" but it seems 45mp is more likely because:
1. CR has reported the 45mp number outside of this consideration as either CR2 or CR3
2. Can has used the DCI standard in the past and it seems weird for them to change without mentioning it.
