Some cracking photographs in the thread. I finally bought the A7R IV with the 85mm GM, Sigma 35mm 1.2, and Tamron 28-75mm. I am coming from Nikon D810, and the lightness of my camera bag is very much tangible, if not a bit spoiled by 35mm 1.2. The EyeAF is a revelation. I mean I went in to buy a D850 but the moment I held the A7R IV, I was sold. It felt so much better in my hands compared to the past A7 series cameras including the A7R III. The viewfinder is great, the menus are a bit convoluted but manageable, and the focus is excellent. Happy days.
