This is what I meant by the 600 and 800mm not being useful for landscape. I believe I wa using a 300mm 4.5 with a tc when I took the moon photos, whatever it was I registered 600mm f/8 on the camera and the photos are sharp enough......oh but that haze. three years ago I had no ideo how to process it to get anything. Now Ican get something reasonable, not pixel peeping sharp but pleasant to look at.
