I had the opportunity to try mkIII and I am super impressed. The ability to track faces/heads even in bad light is very impressive! It has taken the mkII and refined it in so many ways, I'm glad I got on the list to get them early. I never had any issues with the focusing ability of the MkII's but all I can say is .... wow! The mk III is even faster and seems even more accurate.
I know some people had issues with the early Mk II's, but I got two of them right at the release and had no problems with them whatsoever. I'm hoping to have the luck with the mk III's.
Even though the CF Express cards aren't cheap, I am glad that Canon has finally built a camera with two super fast card slots. As someone who shoots to both cards, it was silly in the MkII to have a fast CFast card (which were also pricy) that was hobbled by the speed of the neighboring CF card so ultimately everything wrote at Compact Flash speeds.
