I think the conciseness of writing style is a beautiful art. Of all the literary works I know, I value the Gallic Caesar War most in this respect. When he wrote about the Civil War later, his style became a bit thin for some reason. I remember how hardly I had to work on these texts,translating them from Latin into to Polish,when I was a teenager :-)
Sorry for the lack of this in my previous post.
I will never be able to follow Cesar in he's conciseness,but I will try not to be too far away,no matter the language,
