I bought this lens especially to take with me to Japan a week or so ago, to photograph the insane colours of the Autumn leaves there. I used it mainly in place of my 135 (which is too long for snap shots in the streets and for landscape shots though I love it for portraits).
I'm really loving this lens (I told myself I'd never bother with an 85 again after selling my Batis. 'I don't see at this focal length' I'd convinced myself).
