These are from late winter in Zanskar's Central Valley. Just 25kms is left to complete the 250km cross-Zanskar road. The new earthmoving equipment is helping greatly. The Indian army under Modi wants an alternative route to link the Manali-Keylong Tunnel with the capital of Ladakh - Leh, to bypass troublesome Kashmir.
