Mk III just based on the only development announcement I could find (200-400) had over two years between development and announcement. But no, I don't expect the 1DXIII to be announced later than Feb 2020.
My prediction is we will never see a 1DX IV DSLR...but who knows?? I believe by Summer Olympics 2024 we would be seeing an RF 1 series. I think the 2020 Pro Sports DSLRs (1DXIII and D6) will be the last of their kind.
But I also think 2024 is too long to wait for a RF 1 series so my bet is both Nikon and Canon have a sports MILC (like A9) ready for 2022 Winter Olympics. Which is also the next World Cup year.
