Can agree with most being written here already.
As I contributed here too, the 24m 1.8g is quite a good compromise - it does not have the best bookeh ever, and the 24mm 1.4 Nikon and even more the 28mm 1.4e do really shine here, and it might not be the sharpest as well, where the sigma 24mm Art as it`s advantages.
But it has quite good overall qualities, is also relatively cheap, and light.
This is why I eventually went for it, good hiking and do it all wide angle landscape- lens when I need it for trips and also a nice lens for street and city, when I want to go light there as well.
Pare it with just one normal or small tele like the 58mm 1.4 or the 85mm 1.8 g and this will make a really nice walk-around set!
