The harbour and bay is not too different, just a little more built up .... 50 years later
The Fort out on the point is still there.
And they added a classy hotel a few years back, but it went into liquidation and since has become derelict being used for graffiti these days, as all fixtures and fittings have been robbed out. Maybe one day they will knock it down, because it is an eye-sore
The old house that my wife lived in is still there, but they seem to have mucked up the numbering .....
The Villa next door, like the hotel seems to be owned by Lord of the Rings fans - Saraman
