I'm going through the exact same problems with 4 batteries.
2 AD400Pro
2 AD600Pro
I'm wary of recommending these strobes anymore because they're costing me a lot to buy replacement batteries and Adorama won't refund me unless I return the batteries which isn't possible because the shippers I use refuse anything li-on shipped via air.
A bit frustrating AND expensive.
