Again, my comment is not directed at you in particular.

If your 'client' doesn't understand why you'd charge them for lighting, or assistants or travel time, etc. then you're allowing the client to define the relationship.

Does your work look better than the guy's /gal's who doen't charge expenses ? Does this even matter to the client ?

It's a slippery slope from 'here's my website' to 'here's my Instagram page.'
