Thoughts ? Sure, but they're not directed at you in particular, just to be clear.
The reason you can't get clients to pay for expenses on the West coast is because you're not being viewed as a professional but as a commodity. You're allowing the client to define the relationship. You 'client' is looking at the price for a generic service and not what you bring to the table with your level of experience.
The photography profession has been diluted by auto-focus, auto-exposure, digital and now TTL. The standard of image quality is defined by Instagram and smart phones.
