Thanks, 95mm, just ordered it and a u/v filter.
Should look something like this when done- In campaigne dress by Stopitdown Stopitdown, on Flickr
I have a 95mm filter from a previous lens, now I need the Arca-Swiss foot and the lens coat so the lens barrel doesn't get scratched if I put the lens on hard surface. This day and age, why don't they just make an Arca-Swiss compatible foot in the first place?
Thanks for reminding me of the Lenscoat. I tried to pre one of them on the Nikon PF but they said they have to have a lens in hand first...makes sense of course, but if Sony can let worthless youtubers handle for a bit surely they could let Lenscoat handle long enough for measurements. I need a lenscoat more than I need pontification and self aggrandizement.
I know we are sort of putting the cart before the horse, I have been checking out a long case to carry this lens mounted to a camera. The lens itself is almost 13" long, plus another 3" for the body and the TC, we are looking at 16" inside height. I don't want a backpack or a big bag that I can put lots gears in. I just want a bag for this lens mounted on a camera only. This bag may work:
Seriously take a look at TT glass taxi. Awesome bag for Lon lenses. Actually I used it for my complete medium format kit. Tech cam , digital back and 3 very expensive Rodenstock lenses. Not even going to tell you what that bag was worth. Scary expensive. Lol
