Thanks all.

The most time-consuming part is doing the cutout for the team photo, but I only need to do that once. For the senior portraits, I use the previous year as a template for the new season. Everything is in layers. Goes pretty quickly.

Really the time spent is in getting the photos to begin with. Probably four hours per game between travel, shooting, and processing. Depending on the number of seniors (and how much they play), I need two or three games to get enough good shots.

I could manage the men's hockey team (except I'm also doing two high schools and the women at the same time). I just don't want to charge the coach (plus I don't think he couldt afford to pay me what I think my time is worth), and I don't want to do it for free where I don't have any connection. So the easiest thing to do is politely decline, I think.
