Yes, and very often when I see someone taking a photo of their partner or group, I will offer to take a picture of them both/all together (with their cameras) so that they have that special memory together, and when I take the time to compose the shot nicely, get their hair just right, remove items of distraction, etc, they are usually quite pleased and thankful. Random acts of kindness.
Many times too when I take someone's photo (with my FF camera & 70-200 f/2.8) they seem mildly interested, but then when they see the result on the rear screen, their mouth drops. Love it!
