Luckily this is subjective, because I know this lens is somewhat shunned given the CV 40mm f/1.2 FE.

But I find a certain amount of "depth" in some of my Batis 40mm shots, even stopped down.

Now I'm not going to say it's the poster child for 3Dness....but I feel there is at least a little bit of it shining through, not as much as Olafs though....
