Should be nice if it's anything like their older 100mm macro. Had one for my last Nikon kit and not only was it built like a tank, but it was razor sharp at all apertures. Good value to at ~$380 new.
At this point though it's a bit late for me as I bought the Sony 90mm 6 months ago. Don't really see a need to switch now, but I wouldn't given it serious thought if it were available last year.
I hope they (or Tamron) make a 180mm macro, now that I'd buy for sure to pair with the Sony.
