So I just came back from my trip to Iceland. I spend one week there exploring (mostly) the ice beach area, and mountains near by. It's crazy beautiful in Iceland now, at the end of the winter. Still lots of snow but day is 11 hours long, so plenty of time to shoot away. The only problem I ran into was the wind. It can blow very hard and last two days (which is exactly what I've experienced). At 25 meters per second (about 55 miles an hour) it's practically impossible to drive, let alone shoot. I tried to shoot some waves to capture the wind/ocean drama but most of my shots were blurry. Yes, I increased the ISO to shoot fast, but still it was so hard and cold I've given up. I can always capture waves some place warm like Hawaii
Right before this trip I was exploring dunes in DV with Dave Dillemuth. We found great spot to shoot dunes and both got some awesome images. I wish I had my 14-30mm lens with me but it's not out yet so all my wide angle shots are done with Nikon 24-70mm f/4 and Nikon Z7.
So, this set is a mixture of my shots from Iceland and DV.
