Have you decided to cancel the 600III order? I'm glad I didn't lead you down the wrong path when I gave my arguments for the 400III as a good (even better?) alternative

Thanks Geoff. As far as the 600mm, we are undecided. Amy really likes the new 400mm so we do not think 2 of them is the way to go. If she decides to stick with the 400mm DO then I may cancel the 600mm. As of right now it is on order still. I am really liking the 400mm Mk III and would not hesitate to tell someone to go that way vs the 600mm. I really do not do a ton at 1200mm, that would be a factor too. Never thought I would ever think that way to go with the 400mm over the 600mm but because of the results with the extenders I am very pleased. The overall smaller footprint is a bonus too. I may even cancel the 600mm now and get it at a later date as we do not have any pending trips.
