We were out at Mesquite Dunes on the night of the lunar eclipse. This is a shot of the full moon rising over the mountains with a partial view of the dunes in the foreground. We didn't stick around to shoot the lunar eclipse here for various reasons but this scene still left a memorable impression on me. I quite like the haze around the moon as clouds rolled in.

Note: Not sure if the white border distracts or not. Also, this was a difficult blend of 5 images to get the final result.
