Lens finally came in and today was the 1st day I was able to get out with it. This Eagle completely surprised me, I was at the Rivers edge looking for them and all of a sudden 50 Gulls started flying overhead. I looked up in the sky and I heard a "splash", looked down and this Eagle was just pulling out of the way. Quick as I could I fired off a bunch of shots (the 1st three are in sequence), not perfectly sharp but considering the light quality and ISO it wasn't as bad as I thought they were going to be.
Unfortunately these shots were about 5 minutes after sun set behind the trees, the difference between perfect light and kind of crappy light.
