The Minolta zoom is very good but I think it is slightly behind the primes in the corners. The Zeiss 35-70mm on the other hand competes very nicely with the primes at f 5.6 and f8. So I dont think the Minolta or Leica 3.5 35-70mm would add value to your C/Y...
