Z7 + FTZ + Nikkor-PC 105mm f/2.5F aiŽd, hand held; ISO 200, f/8 at 1/640s; 16 vertical shots pano. This is a downsized to 75x34cm/300dpi of an original 218x99cm/300 dpi image.
Jose, a P or PC 105 2.5 is one of my few reamining wishes. Was never able to find a mint ai converted one, with the Z6 I may buy the non-ai version.
When I took the moon shots, I was triggering the Z6 shiutter by hand, the electronic front curtain and exposure delay made many shots possible at 1 second exposure on the Z6 with the 800mm, but many were slightly blurred.
Looking at remotes for this camera, ended up trying SNAPBRIDGE APP on my Pixel 3 XL, it appears it does not control the camera in any meaningful way but it shows you the image and trips the shutter remotely, that is a lot for a free app.
So I ran a test with the 800mm TC 300 and TC 14 for 2240mm, F13 or so. This is good for static subjects only, there are no peaking highlights or magnification in the app image, but it does show you when the shaking stops.
I was able to run a test where images were sharp regardless of the length of exposure when triggered this way. Not the best but it works and is free.,
Here is the rig and a test shot with a 100% crop, Nothing to shoot around the house at this focal length, just pine needles.
Lens image is with the Pisel 3 XL by necessity. Given the light Z6 this outfit is perfectly balanced.
