As Markus mentioned the 58G is a speciality lens. I have had the GM 85/1.4 for a long time and 58G is a very different lens as has an old worldly rendering similar to the Leica glow. The 50/1.8S is a work horse lens as it is more predictable with a modern look. The 58G on a D750 or D850 is really nice as it is very squat and the lightest/smallest 50/58mm AF out there. The size/weight alone makes the 58G one of my favorite lenses let alone the unique rendering
