Flying Raptors with Canon 600 III

Hand holding the 600.
(I replaced # 5, I liked it better with the harrier coming through the weeds.)

I spent abut 6 hours tripping around the estuary yesterday in water and mud, put on about 7 kilometers / 4.34 miles for friends south of the border... . 2lbs less, pays dividend in this case.
The harriers were very active but the shorties would not come close enough for my liking. I added 2 just for my friend arbitrage who couldn't make the trip yesterday...

Was some of the best weather around our area in several weeks, very little cloud and lots of sun, so some shadows..

For photographers who like to hand hold the 600mm I would highly recommend this lens without doubt.
I was shooting with the 1.4 TC on didn't seem to be any issues.

I chatted with another photographer from Seattle yesterday who was sporting a 600 III and was very happy with his purchase.

I hope you like them.
