Yes, the variety of colors and the intensity of them under certain lighting condition are simply amazing. Thank you, Douglas!

Yes, Joshua, you have the Top Duck there! Great shot with all the colorful parts showing.

Here's an example of why I like the Loxia 35. File malleability, and in Technicolor, no less! Hope this is still in the believable range and not too flame-buoyant.

Thank you, Jim! You certainly know how to make the Loxia 35mm sing - what a great image!

Joshua: Another great display of what the 600 II can do on a Sony cam. I too think mandarin ducks are the most beautiful ducks out there, at least among the ones I've seen.
Here is one with the 100-400 GM at 100mm and f9
Thank you, Chris! I deliberately put on the A7r III for several frames after the duck seemingly felt comfortable with me being fairly close to get the most out of it.
What a wonderful waterfall image - the lighting quality is exquisite!

Thanks, Stephen. Isn't the holiday season to be all about sharing? I guess, we're all sharing G.A.S. around here. I blame Joshua and Bob for two recent purchases .
I hope you get yours quickly. It's a great lens and quite popular, as at least here in Japan Sony seems to struggle to keep up with demand.
Haha, guilty as charged! But TWO purchases? Which are those, please, Chris?
