Above the star, a metal band runs left to right, fascia, or something like that for the roof. On my
monitor it looks like a purple line on the top edge of the metal band.

Remember I do mostly wildlife so have curiosity but little knowledge.
I have noticed a little CA and some LoCA. I shot a cigeratte pack on the image thread and you can see the LoCa.
We certainly need to test more for stuff like this. It’s not perfect but it’s far better than many thought it would be.
I do think sometimes we expect too much from a 1.4 lens as it’s damn hard to correct the CA stuff. The really good news here though it’s very flat field and has very low distortion. Sure it may not have the greatest sun stars or flare control as maybe the Loxia 25 bit for a GM it maybe the best yet considering all the factors.
