Agreed. Even though the FW appear minor there are often lesser but important details that get fixed that may not have been seen yet. You see this often with other updates.
Yes, Charles, there seems to be a few behind the scenes corrections going on. The time to wake up after the camera goes to sleep and then brought to your eye for shooting has been halved, much quicker now.
Also, Jim Kasson (over on DPR) and I believe that the zoomed in latency for manual focusing is quicker now, less lag. Jim has measured it previously at 220ms and now measured at 150ms.
