The leica thread nikkors and non-ai nikkors are the reason a z6 is on order.
I am re-thinking my Z6 order. Partly because my 7 year old MacBook Pro finally decided it was overdue for an update so my expendable funds went to purchase a new one today
The other reasons I will probably delay a Z6 purchase is using the LTM lenses. The larger lenses will probably be ok (8.5cm and up) but using the small LTM and M lenses adapted is butt ugly to that style body in my opinion.
I am also following discussions around sensor cleaning for the new Z cameras. Since the sensor is exposed during lens changes and because it is such a shallow flange distance it seems to be very prone to dust, etc. I have been cleaning my own sensors for a long time and am very comfortable doing it. But the Z is different with the sensor being mounted on a stabilizer. So may be at risk for pressure of a sensor cleaning the way non stabilized sensors are currently done. I am following Moose Petersons blog and see where that goes.
So for right now, I will run with the D850 and Leica M. Yeah I know. Such a first world problem.
Shooting the LTM lenses on a true rangefinder is such a great experience for me. I may miss critical focus now and then, and it is slower, but for right now, that can't be beat. So the GAS has waned for now.

I hope you like the new MB. I heard some folks like the older versions better.
Well in the limited time with it this afternoon, it blows the doors off my old one processing big D850 raw files in Lightroom. Night and day. And it should be considering how old my other one is/was.
If this one lasts another 7 years I will be very happy.
