This happens often during feeding sessions. And yes, it reveals to us the intimate bond between parent and chick.

After the adult passes a fish to its chick, the young bird often nuzzles and pokes or prods the adult, apparently attempting to get more food. The adults are infinitely patient, as they constantly swing their heads to each side of the coaxing chick, in order to dive again and continue the process of capturing and presenting food to its young.
