Recreational marijuana is now "legal" in California and communities in Marin County are deliberating how they will approve retail outlets to deliver the goods. Unless the Justice Department under Jeff Sessions follows through on its threats to intervene where states have authorized recreational marijuana, we'll likely be enjoying the weed much as the residents of Colorado and Washington are. As with "demon rum" I believe the time has come to end "reefer madness" in the form of jail sentences for having a toke or two. But I doubt my smoothies will ever be the delivery mechanism. And, truth be told, I'd still likely prefer a good single malt scotch whisky than a toke or two...
Since I can't drink anymore, I'd LOVE it if Virginia legalized it! Might have to move to CA. D
